먼저 저희 헤이븐정신건강상담소/헤이븐정신건강사회복지연구소가 개소하게 된 것에 대하여
하나님께 감사드립니다.
마음의 건강은 몸의 건강과 직결되고 몸의 건강이 또한 마음의 건강에 많은 영향을 미치게 되므로
마음의 건강을 지키는 일은 많은 스트레스로 몸과 마음의 건강을 지키기 어려운
지금의 사회를 살아가기 위해서는
매우 중요한 일일 것입니다.
특히 환경오염과 더불어 각종 재난과 사건 사고가
증가하고 있어 많은 사람들이 정신적인 외상과
애도,우울, 불안 등을 경험하고 있으며
심지어 폭력, 자살, 살인, 학대와 같은
심각한 문제가 빈번히 발생하고 있어
아무도 마음의 질병과고통으로부터 자유롭다고
말할 수 없는 시대가 되었습니다.
따라서 저희 헤이븐은
마음의 안식과 치유가 필요한 분들에게
도움을 드리고 우리나라 사회복지실천 중에서도
정신건강 분야의 전문적 발전을 도모하기 위하여 문을 열게 되었습니다.
헤이븐이 어두운 세상의 빛과 소금의 역할을
잘 감당할 수 있도록 많은 기도부탁드립니다.

Mental health immediately affects physical health, so does the physical health to the mental health.
Therefore, taking care of psychological health is very important to us who live in this society with great amount of stress.
Especially, these days, different disasters, incidents, and accidents are increasing as well as the environmental pollution, thus many people experience psychological trauma(PTSD), mourning, depression, and anxiety. Also, we are living in an era where nobody is free from mental illness as the rate of violence, suicide, homicide, and abuse is rising in every country around the globe.
Therefore, we have decided to found Haven Mental Health Therapy & Lab. to serve the people in need of haven and healing of their hearts and minds. Moreover, we wish to contribute to the professional development of the Mental Health Field in the realm of Social Work Practice.
